About the Agency
The Agency aims to achieve the policies set for enabling those interested in private business to practice commercial, professional and non-profit activities through easy and facilitated registration procedures through computer applications developed in accordance with the relevant regulations and monitoring their governance and commitment to the regulations, to enhance the private sector's participation in the national economy and open communication channels by activating the role of the Federation of Local Chambers and Chambers of Commerce. It also aims to work and cooperate with all public entities to develop local trade and increase the effectiveness of the role of the private sector and encourage it to raise economic efficiency and expand the areas of commercial activities.

Agency tasks:
Preparing the priorities and annual operational plans of the Agency and aligning them with the Ministry's strategy.
Participating in developing and implementing commercial policies and regulations in a way that achieves effectiveness and efficiency for the private sector and leads to diversifying the production base and enhancing the role of the private sector in the national economy.
Developing policies and procedures related to the systems supervised by the agency such as (Commercial Registry System, Companies System, Trade Names System, Commercial Franchise System, Chambers of Commerce System)
Drawing and governing procedures for providing services to institutions, companies and agencies electronically and following up on their performance and working to develop them to be more efficient.
Drawing up procedures for providing manual services provided in the branches of the ministry and issuing their guides and working to develop them electronically and procedurally continuously.
Supervising the issuance of the necessary licenses to establish chambers of commerce and their branches and following up on their work, activities, performance, financial statements and reports of their boards of directors.
Supervising the elections of the boards of directors of the chambers of commerce, adjudicating objections to them, and submitting the results to issue ministerial decisions to form their boards.
Following up on the performance of the chambers and addressing the obstacles they encounter, and directing them to perform their mission and tasks, to ensure that their work is consistent with the system.
Participating in preparing the strategic and administrative objectives related to the activities of the chambers of commerce and the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and the financial budgets associated with them.
Working with relevant authorities to facilitate the procedures and requirements for establishing commercial entities for Saudi and foreign investors and traders.
Participating with relevant authorities to encourage national companies that have economic potential to transform into joint stock companies.
Following up on companies' commitment and studying violations related to the provisions of the Companies Law.
Following up on the implementation of the provisions of the laws and regulations governing the registration of commercial agents and the registration of commercial franchises.
