Chaired by Mansour bin Zayed.. The Ministerial Development Council discusses a number of government projects and initiatives

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Court, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Development Council, which was held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, the Council reviewed the latest developments in government projects and programmes, and discussed a number of regulatory decisions submitted by ministries and federal entities.

The meeting agenda included discussing the proposed regulatory decisions in the health and social empowerment sectors, in addition to the latest developments in implementing government housing policies and programmes provided by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, and following up on the results and recommendations of the committee to assess the damage caused by floods and rains to the infrastructure and federal projects in the country.


The Council also reviewed a number of government strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the country's competitiveness in the fields of renewable energy, green economy, investment, higher education and entrepreneurship, in addition to discussing government reports related to raising the efficiency of government work and the results of labour market policies in the country.
