Most Gulf stock markets closed higher on Wednesday, as analysts noted that Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election boosted expectations for business-friendly policies. The Saudi index rose by 0.7%, while Dubai’s index gained 0.5%, and Abu Dhabi’s index increased by 0.4%. Mohamed Hashad, Head of Research and Development at Noor Capital, told Reuters that market movements aligned with investor expectations regarding Trump’s economic approach, focusing on regulatory relief and changes in trade policies.
