Saudi Arabia and the UAE sign a memorandum of understanding to enhance financial cooperation between the two countries

On the sidelines of the World Government Summit 2025, entitled "Reimagining the Future of Multilateral Cooperation and the Fund for the Future", Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance, signed a memorandum of understanding with Mr. Mohammed bin Hadi Al-Husseini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the UAE, which comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to enhance financial cooperation between the two brotherly countries and exchange financial expertise.

Al-Jadaan stressed that multilateral institutions remain our most effective tool in facing global challenges, and that international economic challenges require collective solutions, evidenced by the effective response made by multilateral institutions in times of crisis. To maintain this momentum, we must strengthen international financial institutions to ensure that they remain comprehensive, responsive, and effective.


Al-Jadaan explained that he signed a memorandum of understanding with the Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the UAE, Mohammed bin Hadi Al-Husseini, on the sidelines of the World Government Summit 2025, which comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to enhance financial cooperation between the two brotherly countries and exchange financial expertise.
